All manuscripts and related communication should be treated as strictly confidential. Reviewers should not share, discuss, or use any part of a manuscript for personal research or professional benefit. Unless the editors give permission, access to the manuscript should remain limited to the reviewer.

Ethical Vigilance

Reviewers help protect the ethical standards of scholarly publishing. They should alert the editors immediately if they notice any of the following:

  • Plagiarismincluding unattributed text or ideas
  • Data fabrication or falsification
  • Duplicate or redundant publication
  • Undisclosed conflicts of interest
  • Any other ethical irregularitiesthat compromise the integrity of the research

Any such concern should be reported directly and discreetly to the editorial team.

Scholarly Responsibility

Reviewers should assess manuscripts based on:

  • originalityand significance of the research
  • The soundness of methodologyand data interpretation
  • The clarity and coherenceof the writing
  • The manuscript’s alignment with the journal’s scope and standards

Recommendations should be supported with clear reasons and practical guidance that can help authors improve their work, whether or not the paper is eventually accepted.

Conflicts of Interest

Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest as soon as they are invited to review a manuscript. Conflicts may arise from:

  • Shared institutional affiliation with the authors
  • Recent or ongoing research collaborations
  • Personal, professional, or financial relationships that could influence judgment

Where a conflict exists, the reviewer should decline the invitation so that the manuscript can be assigned to an impartial expert.

Confidentiality

All manuscripts submitted to the Corpus Intellectual Journalare treated as confidential documents. Reviewers must:

  • Treat the manuscript and all associated materials as strictly confidential
  • Refrain from sharing, discussing, or distributing the manuscript with colleagues or students without explicit permission from the editors
  • Use the information contained in the manuscript for the purpose of peer review and never for personal research or professional advantage

After the review is completed, reviewers should delete or destroy any electronic and printed copies of the manuscript in their possession to preserve confidentiality.
